Cellist, born December 23, 1918, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, died October 10, 2002, in New York City. Renowned for her performances with the London Symphony Orchestra, the New York Philharmonic Orchestra, the Boston Symphony Orchestra and others. Taught at the Juilliard School in New York City from 1962–2002 and gave master classes all over the world.
